I bet what is at bottom here is whether these items are flattering on her figure. If she is busty or a little overweight these fashion forward choices just look frumpy and alternative-reaching in a sad way. Oversized/odd always plays better on the waifs. Pay for a personal trainer and take her shopping at Alo.
You got it mixed up. Teens and adults should dress in clothes that fit and look good on them. The questionable mothers want to accentuate what they think is a positive. If their daughter has a 24” waist they go to Alo and buy tight crop tops.
You don’t go to Alo if your teen loves bright colors and original clothing. Leisurewear has zero originality.
I’d love to hear from OP about the stores and brands her daughter loves.
