But I will say that a lot of middle aged white women look MUCH better with makeup. Dating in middle age, I've been shocked to see what some post menopausal white women look like in the morning.

It cannot make an unattractive woman instantly beautiful but it can make her look 💯x better.

Declining use in women, increasing use in men.
My completely anecdotal experience and gut says that people who were working during the pandemic, they ended up wearing less makeup due to losing the habit, remote work, etc.
Young kids are wearing more full face and stuff due to social media.

Op here, yes for big eye lashes. Not sure if they are spier lashes though. No nails but she has already got tons of cosmetic surgery - tummy tuck, boob job, regular botox, lip fillers, lip pigmentation, etc. She is thinking about Liposuction and may be BBL now.
Dude, she sounds hideous with or without makeup with all that work. And unfortunately probably thinks she’s hideous because otherwise why would she have done it.

Only a 1/3 of women wear make-up every day so you have a good chance of finding others that aren't so focused on vanity and their looks. It is also a value thing and to me usually represents women with more traditional gender role views for whom the role of women is to look pretty for their man (and he pays for the date).

I totally don't believe that.
I have had people over the years tell me they like natural beauties like me. What?! I wear foundation, concealer, eyebrow makeup, mascara and blush. I typically don't wear eyeshadow or unnatural looking blush so maybe they don't think I'm wearing makeup.
The study I saw was asking the women. Only a small minority wore it every day. About 1 1/3 never wore it and the remaining wore it sometimes but not everyday.
