Bullshit if she’s an in-shape athlete she will have tons of guys or girls to choose from. Athletes are gods on D3 campuses.

Look at Centennial Conference schools. All solid D3 schools that seem to have nice kids, nice campuses, and she could run xc at

She needs to be self sufficient and go to college to learn to be an independent adult first, before she becomes a wife and a mom. (Or get a job without going to college.) College and marriage have nothing to do with each other.

Put getting married and being a mom aside for now. Who knows what will happen there. But college is the one last training she will need to do to get some kind of good self supporting job. (All women should be trained to support themselves on their own in life, regardless of marital status. This includes non college required jobs too but, this is the college forum)

Schools to look into with D3 running teams, low costs and high acceptance rates and she can major in whatever degree fits by end of sophomore year: CNU, Roanoke, Loyola Md., longwood, radford, Towson, st Mary’s, etc. Virtually every non top 50 SLAC will have a D3 running team. Or go to a D1 and look into club teams.
