Yes. When I moved to China for work, one of the apartments the realtor showed us had a squat toilet. And they were in many restaurants. I encountered squat toilets at a few places in Kyiv and Sofia, too.
The dirtiest bathroom I ever saw was at a little pub in the Czech countryside.

Anonymous wrote:Go try out the bathrooms at BWI. They redid them and now it's beautiful floor to ceiling stalls with sink nooks right across. And they have those green and red lights on the ceilings outside just like in their parking garages so you can see at a glance which stalls are available. I was in shock at how nice it was and briefly wondered if I had landed at the wrong airport.
