Ru Paul’s Drag Race is on mainstream tv. From an educational perspective, I hope there’s a context for this assembly because otherwise it seems kinda random. But I don’t see a problem with the content. And most kids won’t either unless they are conservative and anxious.

It's fun and a performance; good chance for you and your kid to learn about someone beyond yourselves -- and actually meet these drag artists as real people.

It is true. I don’t plan to name the school. I’m assuming the person won’t actually be in drag or perform in drag but will likely (hopefully?) just talk about drag performing. I guess everyone has different tolerance levels for what is appropriate at school.
