this is bizarre. this is not some mom and pop operation. Chesapeak is HUGE in the DMV. wth happened? Our provider has a private practice already so at least there's that. what a harmful thing to do to vulnerable youth in our area

I work at a nearby practice and know at least one psychiatrist is joining, if not more. If these reports above are true that providers also had no notice I'm guessing they're all scrambling to find their next professional home ( or build their own practice)

Our practitioner is Karen Hennessy, we got an email from her. She is trying to attach herself to another practice ASAP. Thank God I just filled DS prescription last week.

Just got an email from our psychiatrist— they are moving to (or starting) another practice and will be able continue seeing patients virtually / provide medications as they figure out a brick and mortar location.

Email also said hold tight and we’ll be contacted about transferring records.

Reach out to your primary care physician to see if they can provide a refill as you get new care set up.
