I make something called muhammara, which is a roasted red pepper and walnut dip (I scoop it up with hummus and pitas). It’s very tasty.

Stuffed grape leaves are not low carb. They’re typically rice heavy.

One of my kids has always had a shrimp allergy, and just stays away, but it's more frustrating when the allergy appears later in life, when you've had time to love a certain food!

You're a nice person to look for something special for them, OP. I would love hummus and those Greek stuffed vine leaves.

The chicken piccata meatballs in the new work times could be made small and cooked at the last minute - very tasty and would convert well to appetisers

They aren’t. Shrimp are a great source of low calorie protein. Buy the wild shrimp though.

They got a bad rep bc they are high in cholesterol, but cholesterol from food doesn’t give you high cholesterol. Farmed shrimp are questionable as well as their living conditions and diet are disgusting
