Yeah because they were scared. And then it comes out later when they are maladjusted adults who don’t know how to feel or communicate what they want. So…. Have fun with that.
Lol. Every kid I grew up with was disciplined like this. We are all normal, law abiding adults. Nothing wrong with establishing the pecking order early on. It’s when kids are allowed to do whatever that we have problems.

Hes a former football player and she’s only famous by association. Neither of these people are smarter people or more seasoned parents or more qualified than any other random person out there. I’ve always found people’s obsession with them to be irritating because they just seem so average and the wife in particular seems to just feed off of the attention given to her over mundane things. Anyone with money and resources (or even without those things) can keep popping out kids.
Why am I reading about their trip to Disney world on Instagram? Who cares.

Don’t have four children if you have to resort to sadistic s**t—and these people can afford all the help in the world!

My kids are wonderfully well-behaved, get good grades, and are very active and social. DH and I have managed all this while literally never hitting, spanking, washing mouths out with soap or other forms of physical, mental and emotional abuse.
Anyone who hurts their child as “discipline” is a crap parent, I said what I said.

My mom used to wash my mouth out with a bar of soap. She physically restrained me, locked my head in place and shoved the bar into my teeth and mouth. This took many attempts and when I could cry, scream and yell, I cussed her out. I hated her for it.
Why were you so disobedient? Doesn’t sound like you were following she rules. Are parents supposed to just look the other way and let kids do whatever they want?
