No. This is sexual harassment or assault. No woman should be slapped on the butt. Just because you're married doesn't change anything. Sexual assault can occur even in marriages.

Do you have to ask your spouse for a hug, to hold hands, to put your arm around them, to cuddle?

I'm not sure if you're misinterpreting "smack" as something that has to be violent or painful, but a little tap/pat between married partners shouldn't always require permission.

Not every time. That takes the fun out of it. Besides, they come to expect it to the point it's almost never a surprise.

Sometimes I bend down and bite that beautiful butt. She knows if she pulls away, I'll bite harder. She loves our play but she also gets even. When she's in the kitchen, if she decides to go after me it's not going to be a love pat. It will be with some hard kitchen implement as hard as she can swing it.
