I’m a fed who was hybrid since 2010. Then full time WFH as of March 2020. Now I’m back to hybrid. Not out of the goodness of anyone’s heart but only because there is no space for all of us since we downsized our office footprint. They tried to make everyone come in the day day during the early DOGE/RTO days and people were sitting on the floor and couldn’t find outlets to plug in their computers.

I realize I’m fortunate to still have some telework as a fed. But I’m now assigned to an office much farther away than when I was originally hybrid pre COVID. I commute an hour each way (vs my prior 15 min commute) just to sit in a cubicle on Teams meetings with people out of state.

hybrid. AM grateful for that.

Covid-fully remote
2022- 50% in office
2025- zero telework. I’m a fed so I was the one with the flexible job so this hasn’t been easy for our family.

FT WFH. Heaven sent.

I always had flexibility to work from home as needed for life and personal reasons (illness, kid things, dr appts, home repairs, travel etc) but it was not a set schedule. Our company was fully remote 2020 and 2021 then asked employees to make a hybrid schedule with their teams. So I've been going to the office 3 days weekly since 2022. Still have flexibility if I need to adjust the days, but am expected to communicate with my team.

I go into the office 3 times a week. Even though I could do my work remotely, I understand since there are lots of people at my company who need to come into work. I’d be pissed if I was them and then corporate got to work remotely.

I was 5 day RTO for awhile but quit that job (good thing because would have been part of massive layoffs) and got a new one where I go into the office maybe once a quarter but am otherwise remote. I make more money now too and it would take a lot to drag me back into the office 5 days a week. Hybrid 2ish days could be tolerable.

I go into the office about once a week. There is zero expectation for me to go in unless there's an important meeting. But, I like to get out of the house occasionally. Most of my department has moved away from DC and is now fully remote.

No, it’s not. We stay connected through Teams, chats and airtable. My productivity is monitored and I’m highly productive. Yes, I have days where I don’t do as much, but overall, I’m productive and my co is happy.

Hybrid for me and DH. I’m in office 2x a week, 3x for him.

I still love wfh and don’t know if I’ll ever want a ft in office job again.

I started working from home in 2012. Still at home but my current employer wants people back which is odd since I was hired pre-covid remote.

My company decided to go back full time a year ago so I quit and took a full time remote job.

5 years? I was teleworking since 2012. Why assume everyone was full time in the office before 2020? We weren’t.

Now I’m full time in office for no reason except this administration is out for revenge.
