There is no 2014 squad at NVA, you know what you are talking about?

they mean the u14 team.

Chill. All clubs are now apparently making tryouts in winter for the 26/27 year.

Expect Jan & Feb ID sessions for the next cycle - have to lock in those non-MLS players before all heck breaks loose due to age group changes.
so this is what is really going on?

If he, or any coach for that matter, is not the best fit for you, your child or your family, find what fits best and move on. I feel all these posts and negativity are unnecessary.

There’s a search bar on us learning website to look up any coach in this nation. His name comes up with zero USSF credentials

If you think a 7v7 online module is good enough for a MLS next club then… no wonder this country’s youth soccer is in shambles

That search will only come up with recent licenses. They may have licenses from before the database. Not saying this individual does, just that the database is not complete.

It is complete. You’ll find folks’ licenses from any time

Not true. Some coaches may have submitted information on older licenses to get them to show, but the database is not complete. For instance, I have 5 different USSF licenses from 10+ years ago, none of them show. I know other licensed coaches who did their courses further back and they don’t show up either.

Licenses expire, they arent indefinite. The only one that I'm aware that is indefinite is the D license.

OP, the problem with the 2014s is the roster, not the coach. No coaching change will save that ship. You need a whole new crew of sailors and the best thing that could happen if you are unhappy is that you find a new team. The problem is that many of the boys on the u14 team will never make another team in the same league. This is not the coaches fault.

Weird that they would rather lose a definite good coach for one team just because he doesn't want to coach two. Short sighted.

BL belittles his young players. He thinks he’s slick but he’s been heard calling players lazy and garbage and mutters fouls language.
His antics are extremely off putting exuding lack of self control and projecting nothing but ego instead of focusing on young players’ growth the and development.

Is MH completely disconnected now that his daughters are in the NVA female side of things? Disgusting how here in the USA it’s all about money, facade, and politics.

Haven't you noticed that MH is the problem? JH left NVA to coach at Loudoun for reasons(not just his daughter). JH was a good coach at NVA.
JH left because they told him he had to coach 2 teams. Hes got a young family and just couldn’t commit. Had nothing to do with any coach or leadership.

As has happened every year at this time for every competitive club. ("ID clinics vs "tryouts", but still it's happened every year I've been involved in youth soccer)

Its fairly common to do mid season tryouts at local clubs. Sometimes they don't even have openings, just want to see if the next Pele happens to wander in. There's no downside for the club.
