Recently heard about using glad press n seal, maybe under an eye mask? Might be worth trying.

I am a post menopausal woman with a slew of conditions that caused dry eyes, blurry vision, itching, excessive watering, gummy lids, heaviness in the eyelids and drooping of eyes. I have reversed it all in 6 months.

- Cleaning my eyelids and eyebrows with ocusoft lid scrub in the morning
- Staring at the red glow of morning sunrise for 10 minutes first thing in the morning (I wake up before sunrise just for this)
- Drinking 3 liters of warm water with lemon slices in it, eating a balanced diet
- Using only home made kajal to line my eyes. It is mainly pure carbon and some medicinal spices, ghee and pure organic cotton ball. Youtube has examples on how to make it.
- Eye compresses for 10 minutes morning and evening. I have used towels, bruder as well as plugin electric ones.
- Putting cold pressed castor oil on my eyelids, undereyes and eyebrows at night before sleeping.
- Yoga for eyes including Trataka. Youtube has examples.

Microwaveable eye mask - mine stays warm until I fall asleep
The less screens, the better - I notice the weekends aren't as bad as the weekdays when I'm at work

eat salmon
gel (in tube drops at night before bed)

I have plugs and use Miebo and Systane 2x per day. The biggest cause of my dry eye flare ups was environmental. The wind can cause major flare ups for me.

There is a new supplement just for this. It seems to help. Ocuvite.

Yeah the packaging pamphlet that comes with the rx!!! After i paid $1500 for it! Its probably on the website too.

So they list everything that happened to anyone taking the drug during trials. It doesn’t mean Restasis caused pancreatic cancer. It just means someone in the trial group got pancreatic cancer. It isn’t a causation statement. The affliction probably had nothing to do with eye drops.

This is such a silly waste of time -restasis has been on the market for close to 25 years, if there were risks of pancreatic cancer, they would take it off. There’s tons of other eye drops available at this point… No need to keep something on the market that causes a serious and often terminal illness.

Pancreatic cancer is a risk for immunocompromised patients taking the oral form of cyclosporine. Not the general population with dry eyes.

That's not the whole story. restasis caused pancreatic cancer in rats, mice and hamsters.

1) That's not a research paper. I hope you know the difference between a drug package insert and a research paper.
2) The insert talks about rats who received an oral dosage of restasis (not a topical application as humans do), and noting that the dosage provided to the rats is 80x greater than the dosage for humans having a higher rate of pancreatic cancer cells.
