Adnan explained why the boundary study and the programs have to be linked: It's because Taylor promises to grandfather students into the existing boundaries and programs.

But no one MADE Taylor make that promise so it's a problem he created himself.

It is so clear how much the board and the superintendent coordinate all of these questions and answers. It's pathetic and means the BOE is just a farce.

I don't think she has any friends on the board.

She’s not there to make friends; she’s there to bring transparency and accountability.

The 7th grader survey sheet had all survey options listed there (be with friends, short bud time, etc.) and students just rank them. This is pure manipulating. You can expect same questions in your parent survey!

What did they claim the survey said?

Exactly. They would be terrible on the board .

Rita is the smartest and best prepared person out there. The fact that they are sabotaging her shows that they know it.

I do think she's smart, but she actually wasn't prepared enough for the fight she was looking for. Karla and Thomas outsmarted her and put her into a corner. Which isn't surprising since she's a rookie board member. She's learning on the job.

But I appreciate her gumption.

Yeah, I appreciate her gumption too, and think Silvestre didn't handle the situation well. Having said that, I think Silvestre's amendment was worded more clearly and am glad it was adopted.

Someone should tell taylor that "Not perfect on day one" for 50 or 60 students in a single program is different than "not perfect on day one" for 5000 students.

A laboratory approach systemwide is not beneficial to students.

Next year will be even worse:

Both of them are equally bad and need to go.

There is something more behind the BOE and they would sabotage anyone new or disagreeing.
