Agree, completely racist.
No human being wants to be a criminal; they are forced into it by the system.
A better approach is to respect people’s dignity and human rights by providing the wrap-around service to which they are entitled.
I don’t disagree on either point. But, at the end of the day, decisions still need to made about where and how to allocate police resources. But what’s the alternative to using data to make those decisions? Using gut feelings and political pressure? Is that better?
The solution is to dismantle and defund the police. We need less so-called "law enforcement," not more.

Hopefully technology and its utilization continues to evolve in a way that helps provide greater public safety.
What makes you even think that. Of course it can replace them. One of the best fields to do so and already in the works worldwide in major countries. Is basically becoming a thing in parts of China now.
There is no way. Law enforcement will be one of the last professions standing. I’d love for you to explain how it could happen.
OCP disagrees.

This.
Americans are sufficiently armed, that police are not needed like in a country where everyone is helpless and disarmed.
So murder is the solution, or just duels at ten paces?
Or don't attack people and start things? Is that hard to understand?
That’s what criminals do. Many are armed.
Exactly! Hence the PP comment about being well armed to prevent or stop that. Simple. No police required.
That’s how gunfights start. I suggest the PP get a lot of TEMS/TECC training to hopefully keep themselves alive until the paramedics can get to them.
So police cause gunfights? Makes sense, since they are the #2 demographic for people being shot in the USA now.
Perhaps if they didn't try to enforce so many ridiculous laws with Barny Fife on steroids attitude like you have, they'd kill less people.

Is the AI sending police to the White House? That’s where the biggest crimes are occurring, along with malicious, stupid decisions directly leading to people’s harm and death.
