we have wanted to try frankly for a while but I haven’t because I hate that they are not open for lunch-which is when we were planning to go. Plus I heard it’s a whole thing trying to get pizza from there ( not as bad as inferno i’ve heard but kinda tough) and that just makes me even less likely to try it.

I still dream of Vace and I moved out of the area 15 years ago. 2 Amys was mid.

At first, read VaNce and thought ewww. As in JD. Ugh. Eww. Yuck.

Unfortunately I think that’s all pizza. We generally switch it up between Andy’s, Slice and Pie, Two Amy’s and Pete’s. I do want to try Pepe’s in Bethesda at some point.

I like this place too. I also like piccolo Piatti in bethesda. Vace is good for standard old school.
I wasn’t that impressed with Andy’s but I guess it’s fine. I still need to try AP pizza.
For your basic, big old pizza that you serve to teens and don’t consider fancy but that is really yummy, I agree with PPS that Potomac or Paisanos are the way to go. Paisanos also has really good cheesesteaks though so if we go there I always end up with the cheesesteak

+1 Potomac Pizza.

As a student at the University of Chicago in the 1990s, we'd go to the one near campus. Brings back good memories

Andy's is awesome if you can eat it there. It is good at home but it loses something in the travel.
