What does that have to do with anything? So she can fix things every weekend or rake leaves? How is this helpful?!

I’m a new poster but even I’m curious how getting a house would help. It sounds like she’d be even more isolated and less likely to find a community living in a house. Most people in those neighborhoods tend to be couples with kids.

Houses are constantly needing work, upgrades, updates...they require time and money and are a ton of responsibility for a single ageing women. The PP poster is an idiot.

People need to learn to let themselves be sad when something sad happens. It’s OK that you’re sitting on your couch watching Dawsons Creek by yourself feeling a bit sad. Sadness is a part of life and it’s OK. You need to become comfortable with sadness.

In six months, you’ll be a lot better. Than six months more will be even better.
