Could you clarify what you mean by 'she jokes it off'? So you say, "Dr. Larla, you've been late several times, can we either adjust our start time or make sure we go the full 50 minutes?" and Dr. Larla says, "Oh, my car didn't start today, and last time I overslept, haha funny me?"
