No idea, but tell me if you find a good one being sold today that isn’t a sweater or knit. The look now is layers (eg tank and Veronica Beard blazer or cardigan) or knit tops. Those nice long sleeve silk or high quality cotton or satin or whatever tops from the 2010s aren’t in and there’s a reason you aren’t finding any you like - they aren’t really being made.

The look now also leans away from details like prints/florals or embroidery or any of the stuff Anthropologie was known for and more toward solids and stripes.

DP. I find tops like that so distracting. Yes, the neckline is supposed to be asymmetrical, but it looks like a mistake. If I was staring at this person, I'd have to fight the urge to reach over and straighten it out. Very jarring.

The current, on trend option here is a light weight, slightly fitted sweater. I'm not talking about a thick cable knit, but like a ribbed silk cardigan, maybe with a v neck, worn on its own or over a very lightweight camisole. Polos are also in, again fitted with a v neck or with the buttons undone. Something like this:

If the v neck or polo styles don't work, you can do a boat or square or jewel neck. Cardigans are nice because you can adjust the amount of skin you show based on how much you unbutton it.

The key is a thin, fine knit in a body skimming (not tight, but something that will graze your body and show some shape) fabric. Ribbing is great for this. You can wear it with jeans and boots for a casual date, over a slip dress or with a mini skirt to feminize it more, with wide leg trousers for after work drinks, etc.

The big patterned and cutwork blouses people are linking might work for some women if that is your style and you can pull it off, but a lot of women won't feel comfortable in that, especially on a date. The thin knits are a lot more versatile and easy to dress up or down with jewelry and other clothes. I am also seeing a lot of knit dresses, if you have the body for it. Look amazing with boots. The more body con it is, the more covered up it should be to balance it. So like a fitted sheath dress, but it's long sleeve with a mock neck, worn with tall boots.

Desigual is my least favorite clothing brand on earth. I hate everything about that brand and when i see it on the street, my blood pressure goes up. I get that people seem to love it -- it's a majorly popular brand in europe. But it's one of those things i cannot understand how anyone would objectively look at it and want to own it.
