Subject: Your child’s essay.
If your kid does it all themself, great. If they ask you to review or proofread, or ask a teacher instead, great. Other than having someone else (or AI) write it for them, there’s not a wrong method here. Good luck to all!

Getting the essay and supplemental questions down to the correct word count is tricky. We parents helped with that. Also, had to push kid to add more specific details to bring more life to the essay

I read and enjoyed my DS's essays. He also asked for a few suggestions on which parts to cut since they were too long.
He did not use chat for writing since he was paranoid about that.

Mine all let me read theirs. Two were very emotional -- I would say one was a surprise in that it reflected a lot of DEEP thought that I don't always see. One was much more light-hearted. All were good -- I was proud of the kids!
