Players move to put themselves in the best situation for high school. Roster turnover is minimal once they hit high school so 8th grade is the year.
Most dmv players will look at capital but there are some players in the area that will jump to a Md club next summer or even to start 9th grade. It if you can g at on the team for 8th grade it would be better. Md teams are looking for a few players to fill holes the coach sees. I would suggest reaching out to a coach during NGLL if you’re planning on moving or trying out. Most coaches know who players are from other teams but it’ll help if you reach out first.
