Her sorority was for the most pretty and popular girls, and not surprisingly, she has turned out to be a perfect wife. Beautiful, loving, sophisticated, successful, and a great Mom to three boys. She is fantastic in the sack, and ready to go at it whenever I am, if not more. Politically she is very conservative, caring, and pro-life. I don't know for sure if all this comes from the training she got in her sorority or just who she is, but I hit a home run in the wife department. I would give her sorority at least some of the credit.
totally agree. this could be written almost verbatim about my wife (aside from the fact that she went to college at UNC). it's hard to say whether being in a sorority makes somebody into good wife material, or if sororities simply attract the type of women who are destined to be the best wives. but there is certainly a correlation between being in a sorority and being an amazing wife.

They are, in fact, individuals.

You are clearly not good husband material. I’d stay away. Far away.
Wouldn’t want you in my sphere, but appreciate you staying over there on your side of the streets. I have been married 26 years, 5 kids, DW stays home and I have never cheated. I wasn’t husband material back then, but I became husband material a few years later. In all honesty, I haven’t spoken to a woman in years where her sorority came up in conversation.

They are very social. They are joiners. They like to build community. They have friends for life.
What’s wrong with that?
Most NEED social validation. Daily and weekly from social media, fans, or friends, or drama.
This may blow your mind but you can't characterize millions of women as a single unit.
The thirstiest women I know were not in sororities.

The perfect wife IMHO.
Awful. But water finds its own level.
sorry you weren't chosen for the sorority(ies) you wanted. but don't let that define you.
DP. You presented a very white Southern stereotype of a sorority, which says more about you than about any of the women you address.

Either way, most sisters will emerge from their 4 years in undergrad with a rather impressive body count. That simply comes as part and parcel of the Greek experience.
Does that mean anything, good or bad to you?
Anonymous wrote:So in the DMV - the former SEC sorority girls I know (mostly in their 40s) are all fairly intelligent and friendly, and maybe a little vain. But the one thing they all have in common is that they almost all still party and drink a lot. Many of them are also in open marriages and female "friends" on the side.
