Minoxidil was designed to treated high blood pressure. It became a treatment for hair loss when doctors started noticing this side effect on patients. If you already have low blood pressure, the Minoxidil could lower it more resulting in dizziness.
OP here. Yep to the above. My doc suggested I take the pill before bed as it would be safer if I did experience being dizzy.
