It has been Japanese owned for 40 years but I don’t think press is popular pan Asia. Just Japan really and then the us.

I doubt they sell much to China/korea rest of Asia

You are right, it looks like only Japan. But apparently Japan’s licensed distribution is 6x the US. It makes sense. Culturally you don’t see people in Japan walking around in clothes with labels (like Polo or whatever) very much. But they dress much better and more formally than we do in the US. And you see kids wearing Ivy League hoodies, etc when you walk around Tokyo.

So J Press has carved out a little niche. Good for them.

My recollection is that I saw a J Press store in Tokyo a couple years ago. In the Chiyoda District which is like their midtown. I’m pretty sure they are popular in Japan and maybe other parts of Asia.
