Nooo... unless there's a specific request, they're not wearing Disneyfied outfits. It's clear you know nothing about, well, anything, really. The sort of costume that OP is linking to is not appealing to most normal males. Maybe you don't understand this important fact. Maybe it's appealing to pedophiles and ephebophiles, but honestly, they'd be turned on in most outfits kids wear these days.

I don't understand how adults can look at OP's link and think "sexy" and "inappropriate". Since these kids don't have any curves showing, to me they look like kids being kids. And that's normal and healthy.

I don't know how people can be such killjoys. It's a party outfit. So not a big deal. Let the kids have fun. What's important is to educate them on date rape, grooming, drinking and driving, alcohol and drugs, safe sex, etc...

At 15 I was having sex and knew that Frederick’s of Hollywood sold lingerie for a different crowd than Victoria’s Secret.

You would be shocked to see what the most popular bridal gowns look like these days. They are all corset-style or sheer/overlay or with a deep v-neck. This is just the style these days. Watch any of the wedding dress episodes on "love is blind" and you'll know what I mean. My initial reaction would have been the same as yours, but now I'm letting my 17 year old buy whatever's in fashion as my eyes have adjusted.

Your daughter is her own person and she will likely find her own way to appeal to boys if she's hetero

We wanted to look sexy with our thongs, and they want to show a little skin. I don’t love the look, but it’s not wildly different than what we were doing in the 90s.

I also understand them wanting to do a cute princess theme but finding it cringe to do an actual princess costume. There’s a time and a place, and this is it. It’s Halloween, not school or grandmas birthday party.

And I would much rather they be out trick or treating than at a party.

It’s the sexy aspect of it, not just the length of the skirt. And just because most girls are doing it does not make it less questionable.

Let’s not pretend they don’t know it’s sexy.

That at least makes sense.

We’re not really seeing a corset and mini skirt combo on Disney princesses.

I’d allow the corset, but insist on a full length ball gown. Or be Pocahontas or Jasmine without a corset.
