Older sibling dropped him off, confirmed the parents were home (she actually walked him to the door and introduced herself despite DS’s protests). DS stayed for awhile, but texted for an early pick up. Said a lot of kids were drinking and some were really drunk, vomiting. He’s my youngest and was not phased, but definitely didn't want to be a part of that scene. He said from what he could tell alcohol (hard liquor) was brought in and host parents didn’t come downstairs at all.
This is awful. What school? Did you talk to the parents?
Was this Gonzaga?

I'm not outing my kid for telling us the truth.
How is it outing your kid by just saying which school they attend? Presumably they were not the only one at the party.
If your kid is at a small school its not hard to figure it out.
You realize that MULTIPLE schools go to these parties, right? And there’s more than one party. So yes it is hard to figure out.
I’m guessing Gonzaga as well.
I know of at least 2 parties in the Alexandria area on Halloween with multiple schools going. One was apparently around 200 kids. I'm guessing that's the one people are referencing. Glad I kept my DD home.

Anonymous wrote:Parents’ utter idiocy never ceases to amaze me. For those of you hosting and enabling these parties, I sincerely hope you get arrested next time. You’re putting kids in danger. And no, you aren’t “keeping them safe” by having the party at your house.

What does that mean?
Several parties that I have heard of over the past several weekends have started as a snap group of kids and then the host slims the invite list down by kicking kids out of the snap group.
