Family of 4 and daily. We don’t have a ton of extra plates, cups, silverware etc so I can’t imagine not washing daily

Family of 4. 2-3 times per day. I cook everything we eat. We also have lunch boxes and daycare stuff which add 1/2 the top rack.
Weekends are prep dishes.

With three of us every 1.5 days is right— I was always trying to decide if it’s full enough to run but then if I wait it runs out of space…

With 2 of us it’s just every other day

Between kid messes, cooking even quick stuff etc it's full each day. I WFH so I do use a bunch of cups, make lunch etc as well.

Also I wouldn't want to leave dirty dishes in the sink longer than a day.

Just DH and me. At least once daily, twice per day on weekends when I’m prepping for the week.

Family of 3. I run it every night because when I don't the routine gets thrown off and things snowball in the kitchen.

We’re four. We run it 2-3 times a day. Usually in the fast program.

My dishwasher uses more water and power to get the load finished quicker. You may be using more unless your brand is different.

I run it when it's full. Sometimes when I make a dish that uses a lot of dishes, I might run it more than once a day.

I try not to have any dishes ever building up in the sink because it makes the kitchen unusable.

Family of 6, I run it every evening. I also choose to hand wash most plastic (I’ve been phasing it out, but we still have some), and some of our water bottles/mugs are hand wash. If I didn’t do that, I’d probably need to run it more frequently!

I’d say about every 1.5-3 days on average. We are also a family of 3.

Family of 4, 2 in college. When the kids are home, every day/every other day. With just the 2 of us, more like 2xs a week
