As a Jewish Democrat, I am not remotely worried about Trump betraying Israel (and I obviously don't believe in the Antichrist) — Israel needed to have ended this war a very long time ago and shouldn't have been conducting it the way it was. Israelis think he is too soft and does not have the stomach to do what needs to be done. In Israel Netanyahu is considered a liberal.

Who isnt against ethnic cleansing, genocide, starvation, restrictions on movement, industry, education, healthcare? The reality is just calling a ceasefire isn’t a peace deal. There are many more tangents that need to be agreed upon in order for any meaningful peace deal to happen. I don’t care who is able to achieve it, so long as it is designed to actually give Palestinians in Gaza an actual life as opposed to a prison sentence.

The reality is, Israel needs to do some major PR damage control. So they will agree to insubstantial terms that have no long term impact on the Gazans quality of life, they will provoke an incident and ultimate be back in a few weeks/minths to finish the job blaming the Palestinians for breaching the agreement.

Israeli rabbi David Bar-Hayim says Trump's Gaza deal is "shameful" and "disastrous for the Jewish people" because the Gaza Strip should have been conquered, ethnically cleansed and resettled by Jews.

He speaks what much of Israeli public currently thinks about Trump's plan.

They together will betray the Palestinians even if the Hamas follows the plan to the letter and disappears. Israel wants that land by any means necessary. Trump wants his name in gaudy gold lights all over ocean front resorts.
