I really enjoy this thread. And interrogating why I think the above shirt is much weirder than the Tokyo Tiger shirt linked earlier.

OP just admitted that she met this guy during online dating. So maybe the guy has a dopey idea about how to become memorable in a limited context environment.

It is not my style, but no one is going to be exactly what you seek. I would spend enough time with him to decide if he matches you on multiple, important qualities.

If you write people off too quickly, for superficial reasons, you will wind up alone.

I don't like the shirt for public- but it's hilarious. No red flag. Maybe he just needs a bit of a nudge with fashion.

I posted the earlier link to the cute shirt. This one (and ones in the same style) is completely awful and, unless it was some kind of themed party or intentional joke, would likely be a hard pass. I’m a crazy cat lady, FWIW. I actually think a tshirt would have been better.
