LOL. No. And while "south" on a map, I would not count JHU, Gtown, UVA, UD, W&M as "southern" schools. If you're saying they are, you've obv never been to a true southern school.

Bless your heart. Meanwhile, back in the real world, 25% of university instructors in Florida are looking to leave the state, and Texas schools are in crisis due to political overreach.

Wisconsin is 36 and in the Midwest and for some reason, not on your list.
I would not consider Hopkins, Maryland or Georgetown to be southern schools culturally or geographically.

This. DC/MD should be Northeast.

No. Anything below the Mason-Dixon Line is considered the south.

In 1865? Sure. Just like anything to the east of Berlin was and still is in the Soviet Bloc

Anonymous wrote:So many inaccuracies. Midwest also has WashU (20), Wisconsin (36), Ohio State (41), and Purdue (46). As well as Case Western (51) if OP is going to count William & Mary, Texas A&M, FSU, and Wake Forest all of which are tied at 51. That makes it 11 from the Midwest. Also no one considers UMD, JHU and Georgetown as being in the South. That's ridiculous.

You missed U Rochester from the Northeast, tied at 46. I know it's not a DCUM favorite but it's there.
