Not really. If you read up on the history of tattooing you'll find the biggest fans of it in the early 1900s were the British aristocracy, they had entire landscapes tattooed across their backs (the land they owned, usually).

Depends on where you look. I teach at med school and nursing (bachelors) school.
Nurse students have tattoos.
MD students do not.

White trash. I had some one apply for a job who was tattooed on her arms, neck, and face. I gave her a perfunctory interview and sent her on her way.
