I am allergic and saw this on recent topics. I was not seeking out the information on the specific forum. It was on the main page for me.

It’s not odd. If you’re not allergic, you’re probably going to pass over the thread about bees. If you are allergic, you’re more likely to click on it because it impacts you.

OP here. The doctor who saved my life at the hospital told me that he had two other patients , on the same day, who had been stung by yellow jackets and had an anaphylactic shock.

Please remember to protect yourself and your loved ones. Make an appointment with an allergist and ask him/her to order a blood test to know if you’re allergic to the bee and wasp families.

I don't know anyone who has ever been allergic, and also don't know anyone who has never been stung at least once. That's out of a few hundred people. So it must be more rare that people realize.
