Because I grew up in such extreme poverty and horrible conditions that when a man showed up who had the means to provide for me and take me out of said poverty I was dumb enough and desperate enough to believe he actually loved me and that I loved him.

I'm with you. This sort of happened to me too but I was 15 and he was 24. I'm 42 now and I really have no idea what was going on in my head, but my mom had just gone to the mental hospital, I had no friends, my dad lived far away, and had been severally neglected most of my life. Later on I was diagnosed with bipolar 2 disorder, and risky sexual activity is a big symptom of that. And, of course, I was 15. If anybody were to look at this situation and put any blame on me, I'd wonder if *they* were off their meds.

He was engaged and she found out about us and dumped him, so while what I did was very wrong, the silver lining is that I helped her dodge a bullet. Even if nothing had happened, who wants to marry someone who would cheat on them with a 15-year old if they had the chance?

Disagree with your assumptions about older women. It's rarely about ego. It's about hotness and stamina (being able to go 3 times versus needing viagra) and feeling truly desired by someone. There is an intensity that men over ~ 55 lose.

I think people will be surprised but older women are far more likely to sleep with younger men. Part of the reason in my opinion is that women want to prove to themselves that they are still desirable to men as they age and the younger the man they can f**k the bigger the boost to their ego.

I was 48 and he was in his late 20s. He was very flirty for a couple of months but I thought he was just teasing me. We were both invited to the same out of town wedding and he offered to handle the long drive. At the reception he asked me to dance and it felt very nice. Long story short we ended up in his room and I had forgotten that young guys have great recovery time. It was the only time we ever got together but it was very memorable.

Much older- I was 20, in college taking a just for fun class because it didn't cost anything extra above the 5 academic classes I was already taking (think some sort of PE), and hooked up with the instructor.
