Weirdly enough- all 3 of my kids go crazy for the houses that give out chips, goldfish or fruit snacks. They love that stuff in their lunches and I rarely buy it.

Swedish Fish, Gold fish, Original Lay's, UTZ pretzels. My kid has a lot of life threatening allergies, so I try to get something for everyone.

A bigger concern is whether everyone will curate culturally-sensitive and appropriate costumes for their children this year.

Don’t we not do that anymore in this political climate?

(Isn’t that kind of thing why we are IN the current political climate?)

I'd have purchased Halloween candy by now (and eaten some).

The remarkable thing about being on a GLP1 is that I can walk past the bags as if they're bags of dried green peas.

Whatever is cheapest with the highest yield. Candy is freaking expensive this year.

Funny nobody has mentioned the old tried and true candies.
Licorice whips, Circus Peanut Candy, Lemon Drops, Candy Corn, Moonpies, Chiclets, Double Bubble, big chunks of hard rock candy different colors, and plenty of Mountain Dew and RC Cola iced up in a trash can on the porch.

We don't get kids but I'll have something just in case.

Maybe the big rolls of sweetarts from Walgreens. Those are so choice.

A bag from Costco, plus little bags of fruit snacks and chips for the kids with allergies

Candy used to be a treat. Now kids have candy in their lunchboxes everyday at school.

I give out Halloween pretzels.
Have you seen the price of chocolate lately??

+1 the big bag I usually buy at Wal-Mart was like $30!

Any kind of chocolate! I try not to get any peanut ones because we know quite a few kids with allergies (though I do love any nut + chocolate combo myself).

I hate the whole trunk or treat trend but that does sound like a fun theme.
