so we are officially at this point where we are only allowed to agree with this administration. Freedom of speech is done?

How does the overly simplistic woke chant go again?

Oh that’s right.

Freedom of speech doesn’t mean freedom from consequences.

How does that RWNJ anti woke chant go? If anyone speaks up kill them!

I think this past week has proved that the chant is actually one embraced by the left.

Try again. He was a right winger.

From what I saw, everybody condemned them. And still do. Nobody thought it was “ok” but with our first amendment, there wasn’t anything that could be done.

How about Alex Jones and his harassment of the Sandy Hook victims parents? It’s okay when Rs do it apparently.

Good.

Why is this good?

It’s fine, and justifies sites like the ICE list, but why do you think that it’s good?

Would you also think it’s good if we start aggregating the people that ramble on about leftists, like a maga-watch site? For example, to make sure that they aren’t teaching children?

You have lost your moral compass if you are celebrating anyone’s death. Where is your humanity?

You can disagree with someone’s politics and not celebrate a violent murder?
You’ve lost the plot line.
If you are that far gone, no one can help.

I’m the person who posted earlier being left partyless. I cannot condone anyone who is celebrating this. I didn’t even know who this guy was beforehand. I don’t follow him. I don’t agree with what I have now seen that he’s said.

But I absolutely would never support or applaud anyone who was celebrating his death in such a violent manner. Their consequences to all actions. You should be held accountable. For your speech too.

I didn’t say anything about celebrating his death. Most of the posts on that site aren’t celebrating it, either. Even if they were, what you are saying is that people should be threatened for speech. That they should be “reported” for not thinking what you want. That’s wrong, and it’s antithetical to what the guy we are talking about thought, too.

Again, it all works both ways. I definitely wouldn’t purchase personal or commercial hosting space from Square Space, but if I did want total make my own version of that site I’d use it and replicate that exact model. Plenty of threats coming from the right that could be exposed.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/fema-employee-placed-leave-saying-flags-shouldnt-half-staff-racist-homophobe-charlie-kirk.amp

Here is a good example.

You can disagree with the administration or the govt.

This federal worker was suspended.

But if he just said he disagreed with the govt flying the flags at half-staff for Kirk, that is fine, his right.

It when he threw in there that Kirk was a “Racist Homophobe”, that crosses the line into slander. He deserved the suspension for getting personal and making these accusations.

The worker did also call him a "misogynist" in there. And this article quotes Kirk and his views pertaining to Taylor Swift--"submit to your husband."

https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/celebrity/articles/charlie-kirk-reaction-taylor-swift-143436452.html

I'd argue that anyone who commands women to submit to their husband at the very least has misogynistic tendencies. He had wished she'd give up her career and have babies. I think if a man is putting himself out there telling women to get thee in an apron, lower thy head in front of your husband and embrace childbirth for the next two decades rather than earn an income, yeah, you're gonna get a little pushback and be called a misogynist by someone, male or female, out there. I don't think most of us working moms on here take kindly to being told to give up our incomes, especially since most of us are not married to men who had earned quite a lot of money, well over six figures I'm sure, just sitting around arguing with people.

I’m a little curious if his boss was a Instagram friend? Did it go viral? How did it get to the attention of decision makers.

But be careful and thoughtful of what you post. I was not a fan of Kirk, but those are harsh words for a murdered young father.

I would be especially careful about what you say about Israel. That information will be and could be used against you to say that you're anti-Semitic. Possibly even end up on some list like Canary mission.

Yes.
We’re tracking/watching that too.
