While analyzing a clip of Reynolds and Levy on the red carpet, lip reader Nicole Hickling told RadarOnline.com Reynolds' jaw looked clenched at the beginning of the footage before he told the American Pie star, "Bull---, man."
A perplexed Levy allegedly replied to Reynolds: "Language, you don't need to speak so harsh."
Despite Levy allegedly attempting to calm the situation – and possibly remind Reynolds of the public setting – the Proposal star wasn't having it.
Hickling claimed Reynolds fired back at Levy: "Please don't ever tell me how I can talk to people."
Levy, still appearing visibly uncomfortable over the awkward tension brewing with Reynolds, began to reply, "Erm..." before Reynolds snapped again.
He said something to a woman standing nearby before declaring, "I'm done here, we're done," and walked away.
Reynolds swiftly changed his tone as if nothing had happened with Levy and greeted a woman with a smile, "Hey, nice to see you!"
What did Levy say or do for Ryan to respond like that? This article is not factual to all that occurred.
Don’t victim blame please. Ryan must get help for his anger.
Until you know why levy said/did you don’t know who the victim was in this story.

The video isn't what OP says anyway. RR doesn't "explode". He seems annoyed but polite and I do wonder what the disagreement was over. Maybe Levy saying something about the whole Lively/Baldoni thing? But Levy seems very nice as well, so it's hard to imagine him saying something that provocative. I don't know. Maybe they have some professional conflict none of us are privy to.
But RR doesn't do anything there that would get even a regular person fired from a job, so I'm not sure what the controversy is.
Agree explode is dramatic. It looked like a disagreement. They both were involved with the John Candy documentary. Obviously levy was very close to John and I’m sure the project was emotional. Perhaps they had creative differences.

It’s funny sometimes. Not here. His body language was prickly. Eugene Levy is a sweetheart. Whatever that was it seems like a small thing.
Anonymous wrote:Levy doesn't even look annoyed in the footage, much less upset? Also, zero chance he said "Language, you don't need to speak so harsh," because he speaks English as a first language and is neither ChatGPT nor a robot.
