We took away their cigarettes and they needed another way to advertise that they are here, and they don't care about us breathing clean air

Time to take your meds, grandma.
You would be happy to know that I am probably 1/4 your age, grandma.

It’s horribly polluting and it’s not even cold. Does it make people feel cozy and happy burning wood in the near summer? I find it super annoying to have to breathe in smoke being outside and not be able to open the windows. Come on!!! Please stop!
No matter the temp, it’s wrong to have a backyard fire. Or indoor for that matter. The carbon footprint is huge!
Plus, you can find videos of fires for your giant-screen TV for free. Why not?

DP- I started one last year. New neighbors burn one and it pisses me off. We can no longer spend most nights on our screened in porch.

DP. Wood is carbohydrates, cellulose. Burning or natural decay breaks down those hydrocarbons into water and CO2. The only weigh to sequester carbon in wood, would be to bury the wood in an oxygen free environment, dump it in the deep ocean.
