NYU is by far the easiest T30 private ED or RD . They admit from the middle of the pack.
BC is not really T30 but it is harder than NYU.
Uchicago for non-athletes will take ED down to the bottom of the second decile or lower. It is by far the easiest T15-18 but the students are much higher caliber than the NYU and BC ED crew.

But US News is silly and wrong. BC should be top 30; NYU should not be.

What program at BC compares to Stern?! What is BC even good at?

Stern does not NYU make. If you don’t realize that BC is a hot school rising in reputation, you have been living under a rock.
wonderful for BC, it is not a T30, and it will never be a T25.

I've said in other threads Cornell is an easier admit than Emory or Vanderbilt. They do transfer options and instate admissions.

This, people keep saying NYU is the easiest but its definitely USC. Stern puts NYU ahead a little.

Is UChicago ED easier than Emory or WashU RD?

Nearly half of this list is NOT even "Top 30-ish" except maybe NYU, WashU, CMU and Georgetown. (BC/Tufts/Emory are definitely not, they are more "Top 50-ish").

True.

Still not bad out of 4,000 colleges. 🙂

Are yall trolling?
WashU, CMU are ranked 21
Emory is ranked 24

At our non-DMV private (strong academic class) NYU is an easy shoe-in for middle of the class IF they apply ED and they are open to start their freshman year abroad for one semester (London, China, Middle East).

If public included, UVA in-state.

Uh, only if you have a 35 ACT, a 4.5 GPA or a 1520 SAT (that's last year's 75th percentile) if unhooked. There's a reason why UVA is ranked 24. And since OP's kid is applying SCEA, they can apply EA to publics like UVA, UCLA, etc. at the same time.

UVA even EA not just ED in state takes from the top 1/3 of our private. Almost 25% of the entire graduating class gets admission to UVA and that is considering that many very-top kids do not apply(prefer WMary as the backup in state). It is not that hard for in state compared to other T25 that is why it is such a benefit to live in Virginia

Public isn’t included because they are easier admits and none should be top 20 anyhow.

You obviously have not attended a top public, because if you had you’d know they pack a punch equal or greater than some T25 privates.

+1. Not to mention top notch research facilities.
