My wife has been struggling with libido. She is going through menopause. I hope when my turn comes and I have ED and/or libido issues she will remember how supportive I have been and support me in turn.

Men need to work on their sex drive at that age. He needs to exercise, sleep better, eat healthier, use Viagra if has ED and manage stress.
Women can fake it and use lube. Men need an erection. For an erection to happen they need to be in the mood.
Guy here and in cases like this, I feel you should have your needs happily met elsewhere without an ounce of guilt.
