Idk what happened in the end.
Another thread was about a consistently misdelivered Christmas ham - did it get eaten? Did another one arrive the next year?

There is one in particular that I still think about.
It was someone asking where they left the Thanksgiving pie. It was maybe 2 or 3 years ago and I think about it every year. WHERE was that pie???

I think about her, especially around holidays. I hope she has some peace in her life. 💔

I think of her from time to time and still hope that wherever she is, she had a good outcome. It hit me hard because I had young kids at the time and had lost a young friend to a brain tumor.
There was the guy who I think was continually sharing an analysis of local Covid data if I remember correctly, then he got sick with cancer. I actually went down a rabbit hole online and found when he passed and his obituary.
I though it was all very sad, and sort of regretted that the anonymity of DCUM meant he didn’t really get the tribute that he would have gotten if people had known who he was in real life.

It was epic while it was happening (I followed it real time). Don’t know if it’s as much fun to read now.

These were both so great. The fish dad eventually came to get the fish after a week or two and seemed sheepish, as I recall, but just offered a lame and unsatisfactory apology.
