No, my kids never wear pajamas too school. They like to dress nice. I think wearing sleepwear to school signals possible depression

How do you know what they sleep in? I have no idea what mine sleep in

DP here. Because I still go in and tell them goodnight each night. Also, they shuffle down in their pjs to eat breakfast in the morning. How do you not know what your kids sleep in?

I see you replied a couple of weeks ago. My son is 17 and a senior, about to turn 18. I’m sleeping before he is most nights. I am laughing at the thought of me getting up after he’s in bed to go in and tell him goodnight.

Also, I get up for work at 5:30 and leave by 6:30. That’s why I don’t see him shuffle down for breakfast in the morning. I suspect your children are younger and you do not leave for work at that hour.

Really? You must have a big house. We’re in a split-level and our bedrooms are on the same floor. We certainly encounter each other in the hallway, on the way to breakfast, etc. We have conversations in the evening. The PP who indicated it was perverted has a very twisted, cynical mind.

Sure, but unless you actually see each other in bed, you don’t know what they actually wear to sleep. My parents always saw me coming down to breakfast in a t-shirt and gym shorts, but I actually slept naked.

Perhaps your parents knew but just didn't say anything?

Yeah, PP. I hate to break it to you but your parents knew and just never mentioned it (cuz why would they need to?).

Funny story. I thought I was being all stealthy as a teenager until I was visiting home in my early 20s and my my young niece who was spending the night said, “Nana told me I can’t go in to wake you up in the morning because you sleep naked.” I almost choked on my coffee and said, “Um, excuse me???” To which my mother responded, “What, don’t you sleep that way? You always did so I assumed you still do.” I just nodded and said, “Well yeah, I still do.” But it was what she said next that caught me off guard even more - “I was going to say, why would anyone stop? I absolutely love it!”

It wasn’t too long ago that this was just called normal.

I agree!
