I'm a former MCPS employee who just came back and was offered a position last week. I was hoping it'd be quick because I am a former employee, but I haven't heard much. Thanks in advance!
If you officially left the county, you'll need new fingerprints, usually 2 weeks start time from you accepting the position if everything is completed. Email the staffing coordinator who's listed on your email when you applied to that job

Also, due to the workload, the changes in leadership and all the other crap brought on them, they have trouble keeping staff and big turnover is never good for morale.

If teachers who studied teaching are not good enough to be teachers why would someone who did not get trained or volunteer thousands of hours be better. I am confused by the logic.
