Many of us are reading this and secretly thinking back to HS days and Drakkar. I can still close my eyes and smell it.

so funny. My 16 year old has a Drakkar spray. I have instructed him to spray one very, very light spray on a wrist and then dab it around. No more!

That's not how men apply cologne.

My son doesn't wear cologne, but he has only ever complained about the kids who clearly dont shower and stink to high heaven. No one, including the teachers, has ever complained about cologne.

While I am not a perfume/cologne fan, some people’s responses are over the top. Teach your sons that cologne should only be smelled when going in for a hug, not five steps away. Cologne is fine when used appropriately.

OP, I bought a sampler for my kid from Target. It was for Christmas; otherwise I agree with a pp to let him choose.

Lol, I meant to say have you ever known one? It’s harmless and they think it makes them cool.

It’s not harmless. Ask a person who gets horrific debilitating migraines from cologne. Ask a HS teacher.

+1. There are thousands of kids in these HSs. Please don't.

100% better than the BO.

I have fond memories of my HS boyfriends’ cologne. As long as it’s not too strong, let him try different scents and see what he thinks.

None. Shower and deodorant.
