So this year it’s too hard for kids to remember a 4 digit code so now they need to remember a 7 digit code? Is this to accelerate math in ES so more are easy for algebra in MS?

My kids knew their student id numbers in kindergarten. If your child doesn't know theirs, you should consider getting them evaluated for learning disabilities. Memorizing is easy.

Or like, just pack them lunch.

Why should the school be responsible for your child's behavior? I talked to my kid and told them that I would start charging them for more than one cookie a week, and guess what? They stopped buying the cookies.

This is crazy. So after type in “friend’s” name in email and get their student ID number (that part takes less than one second to do), can have 10 kids all order off of same # in line… Does it only work if $ in a MySchoolBucks account? Or can kids now run up a tab?

Oh my god, so check your kid's account daily and ask them if they bought lunch. If they didn't, contact the nutrition office and they will take the charge off. CHILL OUT you psycho.

Doesn't matter if there's money on the account or not. They can still buy whatever they want (or someone else with the numbers can), then you get the "bill". How do you think so many kids end up with school lunch debt?

My guess is that the youngest kids transpose numbers all the time, or forget. So moving to a system where there’s a picture so they can verify will prevent this.

I used to keep 5$ on my kids accounts for "just in case" in ES. After 3 times of other lunches getting bought on their account I stopped doing it.

My kids have always known their student ID numbers. I think they use them pretty frequently.

I thought I read it was student ID plus the code. Is that not the case?
