For a different perspective—my fancy waspy family would contend at it is kind of trashy/low-class to put a little boy in a regular suit. Suits like that are for older boys and men. Either an Eton suit or khakis/button-down would be more appropriate. A blazer maybe.

There’s probably truth to that - I wouldn’t be bothered to buy a kid a suit jacket just to please someone like you. The bride, groom and young people in attendance will not care.

The kid is 7, not 2. This would look ridiculous. Go to zara, op. I bought my son a cute and comfy medium blue suit in an interesting fabric from here and paired with a white button down and tie
