Someone said Bahamas. As long as you don't go to Freeport or Nassau.

My boyfriend and I sailed our own boat from West Palm to the Abacos, down to Green Turtle Cay many years ago. That side of the Bahamas was very nice, as were the small island towns. Beautiful memories.

But I visited Freeport and Nassau as stopovers once, and those towns are just trash. Maybe they've gotten better the last 3 decades?

St Lucia. There was a lot to do on the island and there is a very rich island culture. Snorkeling was great and sailing around the island has beautiful views. The water can be rough on some of the beaches but that is true for all islands. You can easily find calm beaches on the island.

Fregate Island in the Seychelles

Whitsunday Islands, Australia -- specifically Whitehaven beach is amazing. I took a seaplane to the beach and it was a bucket list experience.

It just depends if you are looking for more things to do than lying on beach. What attracted me to St Lucia is specifically the terrain. So if you live CR/PR you will likely like St Lucia. Ditto Maui/Kawaii. It's just more to do. If you just want beach do Anguilla, Turks, Caymans. For sailing it's BVI and many W European islands like Italy. Milos is really about exploring like Virgin Gorda on steroids I mean so much is dependent on your interest for activities. Not all islands are the same.

We did sugar beach as a family and loved. We would go nuts sitting on a beach for 5 days straight and appreciated the volcanos as something to see. We did a mud activity with our kids who were maybe 8 + 10 and we loved. Also a trek around the island and I loved that. I just really enjoyed it. Know a lot of couple honeymoon there but I found it great to go as a family. We did Tahiti for our honeymoon which I think makes more sense than St Lucia. I don't really find it that great of a honeymoon place - for me it's more a family place.

Milos in Greece - that's a spectacular island as well I agree with PP!
