Definitely need to get a nanny cam to see what’s going on. My guess is that you have some type of animal in your house (squirrel or opossum or stray cat or a large rat) that’s living up there.

There's a paranormal thread in this subforum.

You have a carb-hating poltergeist.

Maybe your house is settling and the refrigerator is no longer plumb. Get a level, iphones have them now and see if there is a drop in the direction of the fall.

If the fridge is vibrating now and it didn’t previously it may be that the engine is nearing end of life. Mine did that. But I’d think you’d notice it.

Also my in laws once had a squirrel that got in their house and it knocked all sorts of stuff on the floor. It hid pretty well but I noticed it standing totally frozen on top of fireplace mantel — I was thinking “That’s a Godawful new tchocki” when suddenly it blinked. I screamed and it took off and knocked off all the actual tchockis. If you see other stuff broken or knocked over, might be a squirrel.

So make sure you don’t have a squatter.

Because everything you see on instagram is real.

It's a recording. You can't fake that.

How can a squatter be living in a kitchen cabinet?

Consult the documentary, "The Littles."

someone lives in their cabinets?

There is no way a raccoon is content with just throwing the bread on the ground. Come on now.

I have family members who had a squatter in their weekend home. The only evidence was a tube of Orajel on the bathroom counter and a ladder that was near the window.

I say you put up a camera.

This is unlikely, but I lived in a haunted house for a bit and all kinds of weird things happened.

I agree that an animal would have left chew marks. I raccoon would have torn up the bag and made a mess.

Get a camera pronto!

This is my vote. Something is vibrating that didn't vibrate before.

Reminds me of that horror story about the man living in the walls of a house.

This is a fear of mine. Not from internet stories but because of real life things that happened to my family or friends.

As a kid, we rented a house from a woman whose childhood best friend lived next door. She didn’t tell us that the neighbor had a complete set of keys to our house or that the house had been used by neighborhood kids as a place to drink or do drugs while skipping school. Most of the trespassers were otherwise respectful and we wouldn’t have known, but one was sloppy and my parents figured it out.

I’ve also had friends who had food, alcohol, and toiletries vanish after moving into a new home. One set a trap by turning up the hot water heater after he suspected someone was living in a crawl space and showering. Another was eating dinner when the man hiding in her house walked out with his bag.

I've had some different things happen in my suburban MD house: TV coming on at night when there is no one near the remote and I am the only person downstairs. Motion activated night lights coming on, again while I am watching them from the couch.

It's probably vibration from the refrigerator.
