My 26-year-old son is 5'10, average-looking, and has a good-paying job. He is also an introvert, but he has no shortage of women wanting to date him. He is a very good pickleball player and there are so many young women playing pickleball these days. That is how my son met them, and they played mixed doubles together. They usually go out to eat or drink after pickleball, so it does not have to be a date. Once the women found out that my son could sing and play the guitar, they all wanted to date him. The moral of the story is, in order to attract women, you must bring interesting things to the table, in addition to having $$$ and/or a good-paying job. YMMV.

Funny, my DD has the opposite experience. The men all still want to live in the hook up world and no one wants to actually date. She hates the apps for that reason.

Because she is stuck in the rut that the PP said, she thinks she must find "someone her age" and meet all the list requirements.

She must date 10-20 years older if she wants an actual marriage. Men in their 20s to 30s are still too immature these days for marriage that won't end in divorce.

Can he have a conversation? Is he awkward? Does he have friends he can go to bars with?

NP. Nah. I’m 5’3” and 5’7” was plenty tall for me. I had a boyfriend that height who had no shortage of some after him. Sweeping generalizations like PP’s should bd taken with a grain of salt.
