Son is 5’8 145 (almost 18, hit puberty early and hasn’t grown for years)
I am 5’4 so son got my side but we did expect him to be taller.
Your DH isn't 6' 4" He likely isn't even the 6' 3" and some change he claims he's probably just missing 6 ft so many men are delusional about their height and lie about especially to women who are under 5'6" and can't tell.
Lol, what?? Yes, he is almost 6’4. Goofy tall, is how I have always (lovingly) described him. Sons often do not reach ptheir father’s height unless the mom is also very tall.
Such a classic DCUM comment, a stranger on the internet telling you that, actually, your husband is NOT that tall.
The short men on DCUM are always accusing tall people of lying about their height. They don’t realize that over 6’, no one needs to lie about it and it becomes a disadvantage at a certain height like 6’4 or 5.
It’s weird because objectively they have to see they are still shorter than these men they accuse of exaggerating.
How is it a disadvantage?
Lots of women don’t prefer dating giants. And everyone expects you to be good at sports even if you aren’t. Not to mention trying to find clothes that fit….
It can just be very awkward…and it’s not just clothes. It’s cars, it’s airplane seats…My friend’s son is 6’7 and for max comfort when driving he basically needs a truck. Just lots of inconveniences that usually end up being costly to remediate that most people don’t think about!

DS’ teachers and coaches are often surprised when they first meet my husband, especially when the two of them are standing together.
My mom was about 5’11” My dad was 6’4”. DS’s three male cousins (my side) are between 6-6’3” a mix of slender and broad builds.

DH is 6’0 and was 150 lbs in HS.
Son is 6’3 and 235!
It’s the video games and cheetohs making your son a fattie.
NP. You sound like you have a lot of experience in that area.

Anonymous wrote:Dad is 5’-10”. Son at 16 is 6’2” 180. Dad at 18 was same height maybe 165 lbs. I have some height on my side. We are actually hoping for another inch and another 20 lbs.

Son is 6'2" and 165. He recently turned 15 so probably has a little bit left in the tank.
I'm 5'3" and DH's mom is 4'11" but the grandsons in their family are tall for some reason.
