We married in mid 20's and moved around the world together, made it more convenient and fun to be together.

If not, try to pass some resources to them so they can afford paid care in their later years. Good spouses are good for caring for each other for a long while. It’s one of the best benefits of a strong marriage.

This^. Almost all parents want to see their kids fully grown, healthy, educated, employed, timely and happily married and having no fertility issues. Yes, most parents would support whatever decisions adult kids make but wishes are universally similar.

Exactly. I told them to wait until 25 before they can marry but they can legally make unimportant decisions like have sex, have HIPPA, write living directive, donate organs, pick a career, get pregnant, drive, vote, drink, smoke weed, watch porn, go to strip clubs, get a passport, take student loan, travel overseas, get credit card, live in dorms, rent apartment, join military, go skydiving, buy a house, start a business, get gender change surgery etc.

No idea. Kids are 19 and 23, both in what feel like serious relationships right now (although the 18-year-old is heading to college so we expect this will wind down). I’m much more concerned about them being in relationships that are healthy and loving than whether or not they plan to get married. And I would never ask the question.
