Definitely coordinate colors with his roommate so the instagram photos look good and the fuzzy area rug balances the entire look and color scheme

One to two pillows depending on sleeping preferences, maybe more but most beds are tiny. Take/buy "Arm" pillow but if he feels it's not needed once he gets to his room, return it to the store. It's not that hard. And they can order more items as they start living in that tiny room.

It's so cute that you think that.

I think she means he didnt study in bed.

My son didnt study in bed because his dorm room was so tiny he had to loft the bed as high as possible. It was not a place to hang out.

Our pillow conversation was “do you want a new pillow or bring the pillow from your bed?” he picked his current pillow.

The wonderful think about college kids today is that they can basically have anything delivered to the dorm room within 48 hours. So if they need more pillows, they can easily procure more pillows.

This is the correct answer. That pillow from home will go to his first apartment and then be part of his life until his future wife throws it out.

In the 90s we all had those ‘husband’ pillows with arms, but it’s was the 90s and I am a girl.

Please ask your sons and report back.

Mine has no extra pillows on his bed other than the one he uses to sleep with. The one he uses to sleep with as a purple pillow that he brought from home.

My 10 year old can figure out his own pillow. Whatever will I fret about in 8 years.

Get back to us when you shop for college for your kid. Why are you commenting on this thread with a 10 year old?

Normal regular pillows (2) from costco. Buy pillow protectors and pillow cases. Wash both weekly.

Does he want a body pillow too?

Let's not bring politics into this. Plenty of stupid people all over the political spectrum and most posting here are not Trump voters.
